Award in Education & Training (AET)

Fast-track online course

The next AET Fast-track online course is ready to go when you are!

Email me on annie@ivitalearning.co.uk to discuss.

Do you need a qualification to teach your subject to other adults – but you are too busy or live too far away to access a regular taught class?

Are you an experienced trainer who needs the qualification quickly, and who needs a ‘refresher’ and guidance with the assignments rather than training from scratch?

Have you been teaching/training for some time and now you find you need a qualification to access funding, or simply to get work?

  • That can be frustrating because you know how to teach and are now being asked to prove it.

  • Maybe you’ve had to work through other organisations rather than run courses yourself.

  • Maybe you’ve missed out on funding for training projects that you would have liked to have done.

If so, this course is for you. The price is £450 – with no hidden extras – (but if you choose to be observed by me at you workplace rather than during a ‘micro-teach’ day you will incur costs for my time and travel).

This course is great because:

  • It gives a structure with deadlines if you want it – or ask me for all the learning modules upfront and crack on with them as quickly as you like.

  • As it is delivered online, you choose when and where you access the learning materials to work through.

  • You can contact me by phone or e-mail for support – you don’t have to feel that you are alone.

AR, who was a student on the first online course, referred to the structure of it.
‘I’ve enjoyed the course content and structure. It being split into bite-sized chunks has helped me progress at my own pace.’

  • a practical assessment when I observe you teaching, either

    • as part of a ‘micro-teach’ day with a group to deliver a half-hour session to others in the group

(you would have to be prepared to wait for a suitable date) or

    • I can observe you at your workplace carrying out teaching/training

(this option will incur extra cost to you for my time and traveling expenses)

It is a Level 3 qualification made up of 12 credits from three units.

  • Unit 301 (3 credits)

Understanding the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training

  • Unit 302 (6 credits)

Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
